He was predeceased by: his parents, Teofilo Cruz and Elena Cruz; his wife Ersilia Cruz; his daughter Louisa Cruz; his granddaughter Teddi Ann Cruz; his great grandchildren, Estevon Cruz, Jeremiya Gutierrez, Kiera Lynn Taylor and Alise Rangel; and his siblings, Juan, Modesto, Jose, Paul Cruz, Rebecca, Oclire, Patsy and Agapita.
He is survived by: his children, Ted Cruz (JoAnn), George Cruz (Joyce), William Cruz (Karen), Steve Cruz (Janet), Allen Cruz (Loretta), Prescilla Cruz, Delores Art and Peggy Gutierrez (Arturo Ramos). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 28 great great grandchildren.
