Leighton of Poncha Springs, Colorado, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilford Leighton and Fern Leighton; his sister Norma Rose; his brother-in-law Howard Rose; and his nephew Mark.
He is survived by: his wife Jamie of Poncha Springs; and his children, Jack Leighton (Lisa) of Argyle, TX, Julie Drinnen (Clint), Katy Draper of Wichita, KS and Jennifer Scanga (Ben) of Poncha Springs. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
