It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Eugene Kanzler (Platteville, Colorado), who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Kanzler and Margaret (Schmidt); his nephew Adam Woods; and his godson Greg Maul. He is survived by: his sons, Michael of Fort Lupton, Steve (Dawn Jean) of Loveland, Richard (Wendy) of Roggen and Micheal; his wife Shirley; his sisters, Helen Volz of Colorado Springs and Wanita Margheim of Pisgah Iowa; his sister-in-law Alice Woods (Charles) of Longmont; his children, Cissy-Dawn (Dawn) of Dacono and Margaret Patton (Roy) of Frederick; his goddaughter Lindsey Hernandez; and also Dick.
