She is survived by: her father-in-law Peter Fitzpatrick; her husband Nathan Schackel; her children, Aaron Woody, Desiree Woody (Jacob) and Julianna Schackel; her granddaughter Giavanna Schackel; her siblings, Rachel Bishop (Kevin) and Peter Fitzpatrick; and her pets, Bootsy Collins, Bonnie Raitt and Bella Luna.

She sewed face masks during the pandemic.
