She is survived by: her parents, William John and Mayme Blanche Riha (Roubinek); her husband Jim Hickson of Peyton, CO; her children, Suzanne Schwartz of Conrad, IA, Kristine Kelleher (John) of Peyton, CO and Brian Schwartz (Jami) of Rockwall, TX; her stepchildren, Chris Hickson (Jill) of Kenosha, WI and Kimberly Spaw (David) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Chad, Lauren, Bria, Michael, Hannah and Rylee; her siblings, Pauline Sienknecht of Clutier, IA, Clement Riha and Stanley Riha; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Sienknecht and Evelyn Riha.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, to further breast cancer research.
