She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bennie Harris and Martha Lee Harris (Thomas); her husband Robert Burns Maize; her children, Juanita Maize, Irma Rose Maize, Anthony Spirlock, Jermaine Spirlock, Charles Patrick King, Travis Tyrone King and R. B. Maize; and her siblings, Florence Carvil, Bennie Thomas and Chester Thomas. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren.
