He is survived by: his spouse Kristine Samuelson; his children, Sara Lenox, Eric Lenox of Fremont, Iowa Emma, Cael, Kyler, Carter Andrew, Melissa Van Wyk of Peyton, Colorado Mycah, Judah, Max, Gideon, Audrey Adam, Heather Van Wyk, Missouri Grace, Olivia, Ezra and Lucy; his sister Patty Wetselaar (Tom); his mother-in-law Dorothy Samuelson of Pella; and his sister-in-law Kathy Vitullo of Pella Ed. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
