He is survived by: his wife Penny McDowell; his children, Ray McDowell, Ricky Martin (April), Donnie McDowell and Nickii Hand (Ryan); his grandchildren, Joey McDowell, McKenna Martin, Malea Martin, Rhys Hand and Nico Hand; his brothers, Ronnie McDowell (Debbie), Paul McDowell (Dian), Kenny McDowell, Howard McDowell, Roy McDowell, Kieth McDowell and Tim McDowell; his uncle Clifford Williamson; and his aunt Shirley Schnell. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
