He was predeceased by: his daughters, Shirley Kae and Deana Kae; his grandson Leslie; his niece Renee; and his brother-in-law Carl DeGrado.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte "Ann" Barr; his children, Denell Mares and Denine Perkins; and his sister Myra Degrado. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren as well as numerous niece, nephews.
