He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Harris and Inez Harris (Andrews); his wife LouAnn; and his sister Patsy. He is survived by: his parent-in-law LouAnn McRee; his children, Leisa Egbert (Derek) and Stephen Harris (Suzie); his granddaughters, Heather and Kiana; and his brother Alvie Harris (Ruth).
