He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Adele; his brother Pat; and his sisters-in-law, Tommie Ann and Megan.

He is survived by: his spouse Shea Mackin; his children, Patrick, Ellen and Kelly; his siblings, George, Lawrence, Deborah Stein, Mary Adele, Augie Goerner, Dennis, Veronika, Gerard and Bridget Moreaux; and his siblings-in-law, Molly, Clyde Dopheide, Jim, Jodi Mackin, Mary, Chris Poppert, Paul, Mori Mackin, Katie, Chuck Buckner, Dan, Nicole Mackin, John and Julie Mackin.

Donations may be made to the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville, Texas where Tom served as a counselor as a teenager.
