He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Taylor and Cecilia Taylor (Hansen); and his grandparents, Gene Hansen and Addie. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Johnston (Ellie); his children, Margaret and Patrick; and his brother Michael.

In the later years of his life, facing Parkinson's and Kidney Diseases, he couldn't do all the things he used to do, but he never lost his love for life, his family, or a beautiful Colorado day.
