It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Busbee of Parker, Colorado, born in Sacramento, California, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Ray Busbee (Buddy) and Peggy Sue Busbee (Joyce Busbee). He is survived by: his wife Lavonda Busbee; his children, April Brandon, Robert Busbee, Melinda Penn (Matthew Penn) and Ashley Cox (Nicki); his grandchildren, Emma Scott, Kailee Brandon, Charlie Brandon, Shianne Cox and Clifton Cox; and his sisters, Susan Romero (Keith), Lisa Morris (Bryan), Liz Lane (Joe), Dawn Catania and Tracy Tattersall (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bear Valley Church of Christ (2707 S Lamar St, Denver, CO 80227). Viewing was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northwest Church of Christ (6059 Azle Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76135). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Hawkins Cemetery.
