He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Kinnear and Sally Stitzel; and his father-in-law Robert S. Reynolds. He is survived by: his former wife Kimberly Frances Reynolds; his wife Kim Kinnear of Parker, Colorado; his children, Adam Thompson (Abby Goldsmith) of Austin, Texas, Corina Kinnear (John Lambremont) of Santa Monica, California and Bonnie Kinnear (Colin Smith) of Bozeman, Montana; his siblings, Mel Kinnear (Sue Kinnear) of Norfolk, Kathleen Reinke (Kurt Reinke) of Lenexa, Kansas and Rick Kinnear; his mother-in-law Gail Reynolds of Parker, Colorado; his brother-in-law Robert E. Reynolds of La Madera; his brother-in-law Saiorse; and also Jonakee Reynolds.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that a donation be made in Scott Kinnear's name to Sea Legacy, a non-profit committed to preserving the Earth's oceans and marine life.
