He was predeceased by: his parents, Walmer Mortenson and Ethel Mortenson (Smith); his wife Edythe Lorraine Halstrom; his children, Tim Mortenson, Steve Mortenson and Lori Mortenson Stolp; his brother David Mortenson; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Mortenson and Caroleanne Mortenson.
He is survived by: his children-in-law, Pam Mortenson of Bennington, Robin Mortenson of Parker, Colorado and Gregory Stolp (Virginia) of Vienna; his grandchildren, Matt, Gemma Mortenson (Marus), Mike Mortenson, Grace Mortenson, Megan, Ben Steinheimer, Katie and David Hayman; his great grandchild Noah Steinheimer; and his brother Richard "Dick" Mortenson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Bob's name to the American Cancer Society and Alzheimer's Association.
