He was predeceased by: his parents, Claire Kufeke and George Kufeke; and his siblings, Gunter and Sylvia. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Abel (Terry), Laura Pask, Amy Barrett and David Kufeke; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Kylie, Alex, Jordan, Ben, Brendan, Chris, Will, Connor, Noah, Faith and Selah.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Smoky Hill United Methodist Church (19491 E Parker Rd, Parker, CO 80138).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Parkinson's or Alzheimer's research.
