He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Manuel (James) of Parker, CO, Sherrie Shinkle of Highlands Ranch, CO and Jonni Sue Merritt (Zack) of Cape Coral, Florida.; his grandchildren, Dylan, Jake, Jessica Shinkle, Tony, Savannah Mendez and Sydney Fitzpatrick (Merritt); his siblings, Roger Dowis (Cami), Sally Catron (Dave) and Bill Dowis (Sandy); his siblings-in-law, Ron Drake and Janine Winchester (Kelly); and also, Connie Mynatt, Georgia Ballard (Dwayne), Patricia Betz (Steve), Rick Schadegg (Thel) and Becky Ostdiek.
