She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Eldridge (Marley) and Henry Eldridge; and her sisters, Linda and Judy. She is survived by: her husband Roger Baker; her children, Loren (Courtney), Kaili (Kevin), Hilary (Eric), Randy (Katye) and Shannon (Brian); her grandchildren, Charlotte, Olivia, Kaia, Adeline, Braden and Jenna; and her brother Ronald (Diane). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Joan had requested donations be made in her name to the ALS Rocky Mountain organization at http://www.alsrockymountain.org.
