He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Vernon and Ferne Elizabeth Volkerding (Howard); and his grandfather Louis. He is survived by: his son Christopher Volkerding; his siblings, Victoria Roundtree of Parker, CO, Jennifer Volkerding-Trinka of Whitewater, MO and Gregory Volkerding; his uncle Jerry Howard of Dexter, MO; and his grandchildren, O'neal, John and Sylvia Howard (Brecheisen). He is also survived by several nieces and great-nieces, nephews and a great-nephew with another on the way, and cousins.
