She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Freeborn; and her children, Renee Freeborn and Dwyane Freeborn. She is survived by: her parents, Vernon Roggow and Vera Roggow (Miller); her daughters, Cynthia Freeborn Smith and Michelle Freeborn Cary; her grandchildren, Amber Lawson, Austin Lawson, Jackie Freeborn and Derek Freeborn; and her sister Sharon Roggow Ritter.
The family suggests donations in Gayl's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
