He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Fannon Markham (Dottie) of Parker; and his children, Karren Mayer of Norfolk, Mary Anne Linzmeyer of Denver, Patricia Stallings of Tampa, Edward Murphy Markham IV of Fort Worth and Margaret Frey of Parker, Colorado.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs.
