He was predeceased by: his parents, Donna Phillips Ruff and Larry L Ruff; and his grandparents, Donald, Nelvia Phillips, Walter and Mamie Ruff.

He is survived by: his wife Jerilyn Ruff; his children, Nathanial Ruff (Brianne Bixby) of Saratoga Springs, NY, Natasha Seahorn (Dehrel) of McKinney, TX, Alexander of Golden, CO, Zachary of Golden, CO and Kyle of Parker, CO; his grandsons, Aiden and Liam Seahorn of McKinney, TX; his brothers, Ronald Ruff (Deanna) of Bennet, NE and Andy Ruff (Sandra) of Portland, OR; his parents-in-law, Gerald and Genevieve Brandorff of Kearney, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Pam Methe (Joe) of Kearney, NE and Perry Brandorff (Lorie) of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews, twelve great nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
