She was predeceased by: her husband Darryl 'Bud Sparling; and her brother Dave Helphrey (Greta). She is survived by: her children, Matson (Lisa), Meg and Bryan Sparling (Suzie); and her siblings, Don Helphrey (Jan) of Stanwood and Margaret Singer (Richard) of Lopez Island, Washington.. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren.
