Amy Lynn Kendall Obituary
Amy Lynn Kendall of Parker, Colorado, age 63, passed away on September 5, 2023, at University Hospital from Cardiogenic shock resulting in multi-organ failure.
She was born in Denver on January 27, 1960, and brought into this world to Denzil and Sharon Skeen. Becky, Linda, Kay, and younger brother Chris make up the rest of the Skeen Clan. Her best friend was Denyce, who she kept in contact with all her life. Amy was married to Verne, her loving husband, they met at the Pueblo State Fair.
Amy worked as a Tumor Registrar for over 35 years at Rocky Mountain, Porter, University and Denver Health hospitals, often the Lead Registrar. She received awards for surveys and accredited cancer programs, eventually becoming the Colorado Cancer Registrar Association President.
She enjoyed cabining over camping, collecting Koala memorabilia, and ALL the Starbucks Xmas ornaments. Cat watching being her favorite passage of time.
Survived by her husband Verne and her children Christy, Shawna, and Samantha. She will be missed by her 8 grandkids, Cali, Kirah, Valerie, Blakestreet, Preston, Chloe, Karlyn, and Cassie. Mischief, Rocket, Rambo, Deva, Devine, Queenie, and Franky her cats and Bullitt her German Shepard must also be included. Loaf the salamander and Sqirtal the turtle are rescues of hers.
Amy will be missed dearly but will remain in are hearts and memories forever.
