He was predeceased by: his siblings, Phyllis Jean Ayers and Jack Gilbert Ayers; and his son Ronald Gene Ayers. He is survived by: his wife Alma Ayers; his children, Randy Ayers (Kathleen), Rick Ayers (Carol) and Eva Dianne Ayers; and his sister Joan Weaver. He is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
