She is survived by: her mother Bettie Pierce of Jefferson, Colorado.; her husband Herbert Van Schooten of Paonia, Colorado; her daughter Tammy Weston (Alan) of Grand Junction, Colorado; her granddaughters, Teena and Rylee Weston of Grand Junction; her siblings, Mike Pierce (Betty) of Belen, NM and Laurie Scaggs (John) of Grand Prairie, TX; her niece Brandi Moses (Jeff); and her nephew Michael Scaggs.
The family has asked to just be showered in cards and written letters of memories of Cherie in lieu of flowers.
