He is survived by: his children, Karen Maureen Sherwood of Grand Junction, Juanita Salazar (Jesse) of Delta, Charlene Montoya of Grand Junction and Charles Anthony Montoya, Jr. of Delta; his great grandchild Dora Segura; and his siblings, Barbara Murphy of Montrose, Andy Montoya of Colorado Springs, Gilbert Montoya (Diane) of Arizona, Theresa Snider (Allen) of Paonia, Phyllis Pene (PJ) of Hotchkiss, Pene Montoya of Arizona and Teresa (Montoya) of Las Vegas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
