He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Georgia Schermerhorn Cox and Butler Cox; his wife Laura Major; his sons, Sam Cox (Tara) of Paonia, CO and Christopher Cox of Montrose, CO; his sisters, Georgia Nelson (Kinloch) of Pittsford, NY and Catherine Cox Willard of Ketchum, ID; and his grandchildren, Sophia and Simon Cox.
