It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Albert Markey of Ouray, Colorado, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Markey and Inez Markey (Kauffman); and his brother Louis. He is survived by: his children, Raymond Markey of Denver, Bradley MacCall of Fruita, Theresa Moffitt (Zech) of Grand Junction and Candace Salazar (Devan) of Rifle; his sister Joyce George of Grand Junction, Colorado.; his grandchildren, Zabriel, Chayton Moffitt, Austin, Shannon, James, Ian, Hollie Vaughn, Olivia Salazar, Alec, Brooklyn and Jax MacCall; and his brothers, Lawrence and Richard.
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, a small, invitation only memorial service will be held in March.
