He was predeceased by: his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Denise Sunderman (Younger); his stepchildren, Jennifer Morgan (Ryan), Kennedy of Loveland, CO, Leslie Mason (Kevin), Teagan, Cooper of Merino, CO, Devin Hase (Amber), Asher and Bently of Sidney, NE.; his sister Sandy Armstrong (Joe) of Grand Island, NE; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica Wagner (Bruce), Isaiah, Jonah of York, NE, Aaron Armstrong (Morgan), Annika and Olivia of Grand Island, NE..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Otis FFA Program or Otis Music Program in remembrance of Stan.

“I will miss Stanley. I have fond childhood memories of the Sunderman reunions, and seeing Stanley was always good. We kept in touch periodically as adults, and I still enjoyed going out to the Sunderman farm, to see my "farmer cousin". The last time was three years, so I was able to meet Denise, and see how happy he was to be with her. I so appreciated Stanley's good-natured, laid-back, and fun personality. I will miss him.”
