He was predeceased by: his daughter Valarie; his parents, Tom Payne and Marj Payne; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Ethel Miller; and his brother-in-law Curtis Bowser.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Payne of Otis; his children, Nicki Anderson (Mark) of Omaha and Doug Payne (Sheila) of Rockford; his son-in-law Steve Waller of Haxtun; his sisters, Norma Schmidt (Al) and Sandra Bowser; and his grandchildren, Brian Anderson (Jennifer), Breanna Korf, Robin Zavala (Nick), Brittania Payne, Jordan Payne, Jaydin Payne, Kayla Schaffer and Sierra Schaffer. He is also survived by Thirteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
