It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Melendy of Otis, Colorado, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Grandstaff and Clara Grandstaff (Kenneth); her son Stephen; her son-in-law Kelvin Boltjes; her granddaughter Brenda Boltjes; her granddaughter-in-law Tiffany Feather; her siblings, Forrest, Floyd "Cac", Stanley Jr., Phyllis, Mildred, Ethel, Harold and Wanda; and her siblings-in-law, Donna and Wilmer Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Melendy; her daughters, Colleen Boltjes of Sidney and Carol (Randy Feather) of Otis, Colorado; her grandchildren, Anthony Boltjes (Kristin), Janice Cates (Doug), Jennifer Biga (Greg), Justin Feather (Katherine) and Jesse Feather (Julia); and her sister-in-law Florence Shetler (John). She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Otis Cemetery or the Otis Volunteer Fire Department for the Christmas Candy Run.
