He is survived by: his wife Helen Ashida; his children, Jerry Ashida (Julie), Gary Ashida (Angela) and Kelly Wise (Greg); his grandchildren, Jarrod Ashida (Shannon), Jeremy Ashida (Brittney), Jayde Addy (Jabez), Jordan Tavizon (Astwin), Mason Wise (Abigail), Andre Ashida and Bailey Ashida; and his siblings, Hideko Shioshita, Henry Ashida and Judy Chamberlin (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
