She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Albert Montoya and Olivia Rose Montoya; and her grandparents, Ephriam and Salome Medina. She is survived by: her pets, Scruffy, Oso, Peaches, Pepsi, Pesty, Mischief, Luke and Vader; her husband Robert Maestas; her sons, David and Michael Maestas; her sisters, Sheila (Roger), Sabrina and Adrianne Montoya; her in-laws, Lawrence (Francis), Joseph (Anna), Joe, Dennis (Caryl), Ted (Manuel Mercado), Angelica, Louis, Greg (Anna), Jackie and Martha Maestas; her nieces and nephews, Ronald (Deanna), Bradley (Maria), Alexis, Roman (Daunine), Justin (Jayme), Brooke, Joseph, Mercedes, Jenesee and Luis Albert II; and her aunt Rita.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Northglenn Recreation Center (1 E Mem Pkwy, Northglenn, CO 80233).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Sarah's honor to an animal rescue organization close to her heart.
