As we bid adieu to Sandra Lee's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sandra Lee has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Larry Jr., Lenny, Jeannie, Sherri, Scott and Jason. She was also cherished by children, 1 sister, 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Olinger Highland Cemetery (10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
As the Parkinson's progressed, she found help through APDA (American Parkinson's Disease Association) and even served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Board as Vice President and stepping in as Acting President. She coordinated support groups, community functions and headed the annual walkathon for Parkinson's. Unfortunately the disease took over the ability to care for herself and she spent her last 20 years in a wheelchair and needing full-time assistance.
