With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert C. Bau of Northglenn, Colorado, born in Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on October 4, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bau and Anna Gehm Bau; his siblings, Mary Grothe (Wayne), Alice Palmlund (Levi), Doris Freese (Harold) and Harry Bau; and his brother-in-law Duane Fischer.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Bau; his children, Brittany and Brian (Devony); his grandchildren, Kinsley Bau and Keaton Bau; his sisters, Martha Fischer of Salem, SD and Carol Haaland (Dan) of Gary, SD; his siblings-in-law, Marlene Bau of Madison, SD, Carolyn Deuel of Casper, WY and Dana Deuel of Casper, WY; and also Mallory Bau. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations could be considered to Northglenn United Methodist Church or any other entity of the donor's choice.

“Uncle Bob loved his family and loved the Lord. Two best memories: 1) when I was just a little boy he had me stay overnight with him. He took me to a diner and I ate my a whole hamburger and fries for the first time…just me and Uncle Bob. 2) when I lived in Albuquerque, Uncle Bob, Linda, Brian and Brittany all came down to see me and the city…I had a great time and had a chance to spend time with the whole family. He always made you feel like you were his favorite nephew/niece - all of us.”
