He was predeceased by: his wife Twila Mae (Brown); and his son Ronald Dean Kohler. He is survived by: his children, Donna Lynn Thomson (Scott), Laura Anne Segobiano (Ronnie), John Floyd Kohler Jr. (Brenda), Daniel James Kohler and Saundra Marie Jernberg (Carl).
