He was predeceased by: his parents, Tamayo and George Tani, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hatsume Yoshihara; his son Mickey; his grandchildren, Marjorie, Jack, Jr. and Tragically; his great grandchild Marjorie; and also, Michelle (Justin), Sara, Caitlyn, David and Aidynn. He is also survived by his wife, two sons, three granddaughters, two great grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.
