He was predeceased by: his brother Earl; his son Barry (Cyndi); and his son-in-law Robert Nielsen. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; and his children, Steve (Gloria), Laurie Gill (Rodney) and Sheila Nielsen. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
