It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Brittner of Northglenn, Colorado, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Veronika Rung and Jakob Fleck; her brothers, Joseph and Jacob; and her children-in-law, Anton Eret and Irma Uschak.
She is survived by: her husband Andreas Brittner of Schoenfeld; her family, Brakel, Schaeferhof, Barbara and Andreas; her children, Ludmilla Eret, Raphael Brittner (Shirley), Rosemarie Brittner-Mahyera (David Mortensen), Johannes Brittner (Rae Ann Frantz) and Lillie Anna Brittner (Joe Higbee); her siblings, Rose Weinrauch, Tillie Thiedig and John Fleck (Anita); her sisters-in-law, Louise Fleck and Ellen Fleck; her godson Hieronymus Wolf (Germany); and also, Ludmilla and Rosemarie. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
As we bid her farewell, we celebrate her well lived life, her great capacity for love, and instilling in her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren a robust sense of family, love, charity, and history.
