He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bjorhus and Belle Bjorhus; his wife Esther Johnson; and his siblings, Bernice, Helen, Ruth, Betty, Jean and Don.

He is survived by: his children, Duane (Barb), Dennis (Ellen) and Judy (Mike); his brothers, Russell (Margie) and Norman (Irene); and his grandchildren, Don (Val), Dale (Tami), Joe (Martina), April (Brad), Brett, Paul (Jessica), Tim (Beth) and Amy (Delin). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
