He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kenneth McCloskey and Elva Elaine McCloskey (Wolf); his brothers, Joe McCloskey and Patrick McCloskey; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Dorothy Loman; and his brother-in-law Travis Loman.

He is survived by: his wife Loretta McCloskey; his nieces and nephews, Joetta Kerrick (Clint) of Mosca, CO, Clayton Loman (Kathy) of Del Norte, CO, Michael Loman (Leah) of Alamosa, CO, Debbie Menicucci (Mike) of Corrales, N. M., Kerry Garrett (Daronda) of Williamsburg, N. M., Jack Garrett (Debbie) of Lancaster and Chris Crown (Amber) of Center, CO; his sister Darlene Garrett (Danny) of Elephant Butte, N. M.; and his sister-in-law Arlene Loman of Monte Vista, CO.
