It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan Leland Hughes of Morrison, Colorado, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardith Hughes (Cox) and Leland Hughes; and his nephews, Rod Gillen, Brett Hufford and Trent Hufford.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Cornwell and Chad Hughes (Shelly); his sisters, Joetta Hufford and Jo Anna Gillen (Jerry); his grandchildren, Schuyler Hughes (Ashley Bonamo), Cade Hughes and Easton Hughes; and his great grandchild Bailey Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CrossRoads Christian Church or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
