Julaine Kennedy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julaine Kennedy of Monument, Colorado, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julaine Kennedy to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Thornton and Eddie Faye Thornton (Barnes); her sister Lanelda Jo Thornton; and her daughter Paige Leigh Kennedy. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Greg Kennedy (Crystal) of Eagle River, AK and Shawna Witthar (Larry) of Amarillo, TX; her brother Lynn Thornton (Brenda) of Amarillo, TX; her brother-in-law Don Kennedy of Akron, CO; and her grandchildren, Ryan Kennedy (Jenna) of Corinth, TX, Erin Saucier (Justin) of Eagle River, AK, Kyle Kennedy (Marilu) of Knoxville, TN, Paige Goodell (Chris) of Amarillo, TX and Payton Witthar (Shannon) of Canyon, TX. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tri-Lakes Church of Christ (20450 Beacon Lite Rd #9620, Monument, CO 80132). A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery (10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorial contributions to be made to the Dementia Society of America or Tri-Lakes Church of Christ.
