She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Ivan and Phyllis Gookin. She is survived by: her brother Jay Lynn Gookin; her children, Heather Valdez (Mark) and Joshua Amidei (Vicky Becker); and her siblings, April Drawe, Bryon Gookin, Ron Gookin, Norma Rodman and Doyle Gookin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
