He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Shaver and Frederick Shaver; his wife Gail Shaver; his daughter Glenda Schoenfeld; and his brother Edward Shaver.
He is survived by: his siblings, Frieda Burgley and Charlies Shaver; his sons, Rick Perkins (Kellie), Kevin Shaver (Kelly) and Eric Shaver; and his grandchildren, Mandy Robertson, K. J. Shaver (Kevin Jr.) and Brittany Shaver.
