He is survived by: his children, James Godby, Denise (Jason Sutton), Allison Purcell and Gregory Purcell; his grandchild Nevaeh; his siblings, Stephanie (Zach Games) and Aaron Purcell; and his parents, Dennis Purcell and Trudy Purcell. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Springs Rescue Mission.
