He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Marvel of Delta and Dean Marvel; and his brother Ray Marvel of Hotchkiss, CO.. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Leslie Jones (Tim) of Lakewood, CO and Troy Marvel (Heather); his grandchildren, David of Montrose and Lydia Marvel of Montrose; and his brother Jim Marvel of Ammon, Idaho. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
