She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Stapleton (Colvin) and Delmar Faye Stapleton; and her sister Vivian McAfee. She is survived by: her husband Leon Brown; her daughter Melissa Fletcher; her son-in-law Charles Fletcher of Montrose; her son Randy Brown of Reeds; and her siblings, Ilene Jones of Tulsa, Raymond Stapleton of Fairview and Harley Stapleton of Cassville. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
