He was predeceased by: his grandfather Wally (Wally); his parents, Benjamin L. Sheats and Pauline E. Barnett; and his wife Gloris Sheats. He is survived by: his children, Wallace E. Sheats Jr. (Gerry Sheats), L. Diane Hurst (Charles Hurst), Cynthia June, Brenda Cirbo and Christie Emerson; his significant other Karen Erickson; and his partner's daughter Lisa Suppes (Jim Suppes). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
